Instead of publishing details of your latest activities as a regular web page, why not publish them as a news story?
News stories are just like normal web pages - you can include formatted text, pictures and links (this page is a news story). However, the SurreyCommunity system can also automatically create lists of your news stories which you can add to any of your other pages (we've added one to the home page).
The lists contain the title of your news items with a one line summary and a link to the full story.
When you publish a new news story, any lists on your pages are automatically updated. You can set a time limit for how long news stories are included in lists - anything from one day to one year. Older news stories are automatically removed from the lists.
Using this system, you can easily add a list of the last month's news stories to your home page - an ideal way of keeping your visitors updated!
